Rife-App 2.09
Rife-App 3.35 » Devlog
A new option that try to interpolate the video using YUV instead of RGB, to try to preserve the colors of the original video file. There still work to be done on it.
Don't use it on model 3.8, it will give pretty bad results for now, 2.4 and 3.1 should work fine.
Since the color mode change, this also affect the interpolation result.

Thanks for this color mode update, it's important to me so I upgraded to this immediately. The previous ones had yellow tinge, etc.
This YUV color mode seems to work much better, at least it's not noticeable to me on a file I've tried so far. Thank you again, and I hope you continue to refine/work on it!
hi, first i want to say thank you so far for what you have created with rife. Its a nice software and i love it and i bought it to support. is it possible to make Rife support 8k resolution files. I have no issues when i interpolate to 60fps on a 4k file. but when i try to interpolate on an 8k file i get out of memory errors and im using an rtx 3070 and i have 128gb of ram and a 24 core cpu processors but still get error on interpolating an 8k file
It should be possible if I add a split option, but it will also take a little longer to render. Will add it to my TODO list, but it's already have quite a few things in it, so it might take some time.
thanks truly appreciate it if you add 8k as an option :)
