A downloadable tool for Windows

** This is an extreme earlier build, if you don't like bugs and limitations, you should wait more updates before downloading this project. **

Dain-App is a free app that let you take any form of media like movies, stop-motion, anime, cartoons, sprites, etc and interpolate new frames, generating a bigger frame-rate from the original file.

The app is currently in alpha and development. Sadly for now it require CUDA, so any computer that don't support CUDA will not be able to run this app (AMD and older Nvidia cards).

Important Notes:

  • Most important, sorry for the file-size. Right now this simple app size is 1GB!!! This is because this was not meant to be a standalone project, so by patching all together to create a .exe, it made a huge file-size. In the next versions i will work to make the project smaller.
  • The backbone of this project is a algorithm called DAIN. If you are a developer and want to check it out, here is the github: https://github.com/baowenbo/DAIN
  • This is the first release of the app, so most likely it will be quite a few bugs, they will be fixed in time.
  • The app can only run for now in a computer with CUDA support.

Bugs and limitation:

  • If a "OutOfMemory" error occur, it most likely the resolution of the video is to big, use the "Video Resize" option to scale it down. Video length should not create this bug.
  • "Cuda not supported" and similar messages means that your computer most likely don't have a compatible CUDA
  • Audio still not transferred to the output video.
